Dear residents this weeks round up from Foleshill Neighbourhood Police Team
Here is a roundup of what the Foleshill Neighbourhood team officers have been doing this week.
OUR Priorities
Our priorities are now business crime; this is an issue all over the Northeast and officers are proactively patrolling the affected areas. We have officers in plain clothes as well as in hi visibility uniform.
Officers are carrying out dedicated retail crime patrols and plain clothes operations to provide reassurance to shop keepers, deter anti-social behaviour and address concerns raised by the community. Alongside these the dedicated retail crime patrols are focusing on supporting local shops, tackling shop theft and working closely with shop staff to prevent repeat offences.
IN OTHER NEWS
This week officers from the Road harm prevention team have been in the north of the city tackling anti-social behaviour. Local officers were joined by officers on road bikes and two west midlands police off road bikes that had been brought over to tackle the nuisance off road bikes across the north of the city. On this occasion no arrests were made.
At the weekend officers were on duty and covering the ‘we are back parade’ officers tasks included. We had uniformed officers, horse ack officers and officers in plain clothes from operation servitor. The day was a massive success with no major police issues reported.
This week officers from the Foleshill policing team jointly with officers from the Northeast priory crime team had a total of 22 arrests. These arrests are from a various crimes including, failed to appear warrants, domestic incidents, assaults and drug offences.
This week also saw the promotion of Coventry City Football Club to the premiership. Sunday saw the last home game of the season for the Sky Blues.
